Der kommer flere og flere podcasts, flere og flere podcast-lyttere, og lytterne lytter mere og mere. Alligevel er det kun de færreste podcast, som er økonomisk bæredygtige.
Denne session præsenterer state-of-the-art af den danske og internationale forskning i podcast som forretning. Og det er nødvendigt – for mens alle tilsyneladende har en podcast, er den systematiske viden om podcast-markedet og dets forretningsmodeller fortsat ganske begrænset.
Sessionen afholdes af Thomas Spejlborg Sejersen og Aske Kammer fra Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole, der som nogle af de eneste i Danmark har forsket i den forretningsmæssige dimension af podcasting.
